March 12, 2:00-4:00 PM. Celebrate the opening of the Ellen Garrison Building at the Concord Middle School with a special day for students, families, and the community.
Come visit The Robbins House as we honor Ellen Garrison’s legacy of teaching and celebrate the opening of the Ellen Garrison Building at the Concord Middle School. Have you ever wondered what games children played in 19th-century Concord? Now’s your chance to find out!
Swing by The Robbins House for an afternoon of games and crafts. Play a game of Pass the Slipper, Blindman’s Bluff, a Game of Graces and make a whirligig to take home. Take a tour of The Robbins House and rediscover the stories of Caesar Robbins, Susan and Ellen Garrison and their families and how they fought for equality and justice throughout their lives. No registration required. Free and open to the public.
This event was originally scheduled for February 19, 2025, but due to ice and snow, the event has been postponed to March 12, 2025. See you then!
